The Three Peaks Walk was developed by residents, to encourage people to use the fine local parks (Hilly Fields, Ladywell Fields, Blythe Hill Fields and One Tree Hill). These have some of south London's best views, and they are linked by lively neighbourhood high streets, with plenty of cafes and shops. The full walk is five miles (2-3 hours walking time), but there are plenty of transport options if you only want to do part of it. And lots of places to stop for refreshment!
The walk was launched in July 2016, when around 150 people took part in the first Lewisham Three Peaks Challenge, helping to raise over £2300 for local charities For Jimmy and the Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust. Since then, other local residents have used the map to explore the local area, and make the most of our thriving community.
You can pick up a copy of the map in Crofton Park L:ibrary and other places locally. Check out @Brockley3Peaks on Twitter, or our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/Lewisham-3-Peaks-Challenge-1034541099971217/), for news, including details of future 3 Peaks Challenge events.
And enjoy the walk!"
