St Saviours Parish Church Brockley Rise.

St Saviour's  is a lively and welcoming church on Brockley Rise at the junction with Herschell Road....
As part of the Church of England, we care about everyone who lives in our parish. We baptise babies (and people of any age), we celebrate weddings, we support those who are ill or dying, we conduct funerals and we visit those who are grieving.Whether you live or work in our parish or neither, you are very welcome to worship with us and be part of our community.St Saviour’s is a very mixed community, which attracts people who are drawn from many parts of the world and many different church backgrounds. We try to celebrate diversity by drawing on the best of different traditions. We are members of Inclusive Church. We actively support Fairtrade, Christian Aid and a range of local community groups. Our mission is to become ... a family that enriches people’s lives, is open to all and shows God’s love for all ... a church that works in partnership with others sharing our values and aims, and uses its buildings and grounds to demonstrate God’s concern for all ... a church that seeks to serve young people in our area ... a church which passes on the Good News and helps build community throughout our parish .

Services and activities for children and young people

Babies and pre-school children are very welcome at all services.

We provide a crèche space for babies and very young children. There is a Sunday Club for children aged 4-12 years, who are included in our main act of worship on Sunday. They begin in church with everyone before going out in their own group and returning for Communion. In this way they learn worship and enjoy activities that are tailored for them.

During the week there are activities for children and young people:

a monthly All Age Service,
Toddlers on Tuesdays,
Beavers, Cubs and Scouts, Rainbows, Brownies and Guides.

Our special services for children include a Crib Service at Christmas and special activities at Easter activities for children and young people.

In addition to opportunities for inclusion in our worship, a number of activities are open to children and young people at St Saviour’s:
